During this period, Scott also completed a certificate in leadership with Northwestern's Kellogg Business School.

From 2006-2015 Scott served as the Director of Youth Ministry at Northminster Presbyterian Church. During this period, Scott led a growing mission effort with the Appalachian Service Project.

Scott is the father of two children, Sophie (2009) and Jack (2017). He was born in St. Louis and grew up in St. Charles, IL. He moved to Indianapolis in 2014 to be close to his mother and sister.

The focus of Scott's ministry is teaching what it looks like to love like Jesus. He understands his calling to Faith UCC to be one of transformative leadership. Scott currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Indiana-Kentucky Conference of the United Church of Christ.
