Jesus Christ calls us to love one another as he loved us. This means willing self-sacrifice. Since March, we have sacrificed our live worship out of love for the community. With proper precautions and a spirit of willing self-sacrifice, we will return to live worship.

In order to return, our Faith UCC COVID-19 Task Force recommends that Marion County fall into either the BLUE or YELLOW rating categories. In the event of an ORANGE rating, live worship will be suspended for two weeks. If it is RED, live worship will be suspended for a month. Data will be taken from HERE.

The positivity rate will be checked on Thursday each week and the decision whether to open or not for live worship will be communicated on Friday through social media and email.

Each week we ask that you pre-register to help us better prepare. You can do so HERE.

Social Distancing

Our pews will be section apart to ensure a safe distance. All will enter the building at the lower level Fellowship Hall entrance and will be dismissed through the sanctuary doors. Contact tracing and temperature taking will take place upon entry.

Mask Wearing

Everyone is required to wear a mask while inside the church building. The only exceptions will be Pastor Scott while he is speaking and Jason Barrows while he is singing. Plexiglass barriers and increased distance will separate Scott and Jason from the congregation.

Hand Sanitizing

Clean hands reduce the risk of passing COVID-19 and Seasonal Flu.

No matter the season, it is the wise thing to do! Sanitizers will be available throughout the building. Instead of shaking hands, give a happy wave, and thumbs up!

One day this will be over.

Due to high risk, corporate singing will not be offered at this time.

At this time, all our kid's programs are suspended. In lieu of programming, all kids will be asked to join their parents in the sanctuary. Coloring supplies will be available and kids on mobile devices are just fine

until we return to normal.

If you are not comfortable with the risk of Live Worship, we understand. Our service will be streamed live on our Facebook page and the message will be recorded and posted on Youtube by the following Wednesday.

Woman with Protective Mask

No matter where you are on life's journey you are welcome in our church! If you don't agree with our safety protocols, we respect that and respectfully ask that you worship with us from home until we remove our current restrictions.
